PM Modi is likely to inaugurate a new factory in Korwa, near Amethi, in Uttar Pradesh, on February 28 for the manufacture of Russian designed AK-47/203 rifles in India.
The plant will initially manufacture 7.47 lakh rifles for the Armed forces and then, for the Central police forces. Eventually, perhaps 2 million (or 20 lakh) rifles will be manufactured here.
For the entire army, now of over 1 million men, the Kalashnikov will be the standard weapon. The Russian government has also been very supportive of the project.
So far, the Kalashnikovs used by the armed forces have been imported. Now, beginning with perhaps the first 50 rifles, that could be “dedicated” to the nation, the Indian Army and then, the other security forces will be using rifles, designed in Russia, but certainly, made in India.

इस साल भारतीय वायु सेना के लिए सबसे बड़ी खबर है – चिनूक हेलीकॉप्टर आ गया
भारतीय वायु सेना के पहले चार च-47 एफ चिनूक heavylift हेलीकॉप्टर कल सुबह गुजरात में mundra बंदरगाह पर पहुंचे।
कल एक व्यापारी पोत पर डिलीवरी शेड्यूल के आगे सप्ताह है – इस वर्ष मार्च के लिए पहला chinooks आने वाला था । 11 अधिक chinooks 15 chinooks के लिए एक सितम्बर 2015 के रूप में फॉलो करेंगे।
हेलीकॉप्टर चंडीगढ़ एयर फोर्स बेस के लिए जा रहा होगा जहां यह 126 हेलिकॉप्टर उड़ान का हिस्सा बन जाएगा, एक इकाई जो वायुसेना के mi-26 हेलीकॉप्टर के अंतिम में चलती है. अगले महीने एक प्रेरण समारोह आयोजित किया जाएगा. उत्तर-पूर्व में तैनात chinooks के लिए एक ताजा स्क्वाड्रन उठाया जाएगा।
च-47 f (i) चिनूक एक उन्नत मल्टी मिशन हेलीकॉप्टर है जो भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों को युद्ध और मानवीय मिशन के पूरे स्पेक्ट्रम में बेमिसाल रणनीतिक एयरलिफ्ट क्षमता के साथ प्रदान करेगा। भारतीय वायु सेना में वर्तमान में 15 चिनूक हेलीकॉप्टर हैं।
हमारा वायुसेना इन हेलीकॉप्टर के समावेश के साथ और अधिक घातक हो जाएगा…… अपाचे अटैक हेलीकॉप्टर और राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों को अगले दो महीनों में डिलीवर किया जाएगा।
