Today once again I am reminded of 4 kinds of Executives/Managers that exist in any company or organisation.
Category ONE , Those who are straight forward and honest. They neither resort to shortcuts nor allow others to be dishonest. As a result more often than not They are sidelined very early in their careers. Some of them making to top is very very rare.
CATEGORY Two, Those who are smart, they look the other way whenever a question of morality comes and prefer to remain quiet. Whenever they are cornered they follow a policy of ; AVOID, BYEPASS AND CONFUSE.They do not oppose corruption around them and hence considered as VERY COOPERATIVE by Corrupt people around. Most of them slowly and gradually reach the top of their careers.
CATEGORY Three, They are those who are corrupt , dishonest and make money and allow others also to make money. They enjoy the system to the hilt and Do not allow the Category One Officers to stay.
Thus one can safely assume that the CATEGORY TWO AND CATEGORY THREE OFFICERS OPERATE HAND IN GLOVE.
Manmohan Singh who has been part of the Govt in some form or the other for 35 long years is one of the Category 2 Officers. Thats why PM today mentioned that ; Only Manmohan Singh knew the art of bathing with a raincoat on And One has to learn this art from Dr Sahab.
